CoolSculpting by Zeltiq is an American made device which is also FDA approved for non-invasive fat freezing procedure. The device is complete with applicators of different sizes that emit controlled cooling temperatures.  

CoolSculpting also uses a vacuum pressure that draws the fat tissues between the cooling panels, freezing and destroying the fat cells that gradually helps in reducing fat layer thickness. 

  • ZLipo 

ZLipo is a device by Zimmer Aesthetics. It is a German made device. It also uses cool temperatures to treat, freeze and eliminate fat cells. ZLipo uses a pulsed vacuum that helps break down fat before the actual fat freezing begins.  

The ZLipo device has cooling panels of varying sizes that emit the right temperature to freeze the fat cells to the point of natural elimination.  

What are the Benefits of Fat Freezing? 

Fat freezing is becoming a very popular cosmetic procedure to lose fat from stubborn parts of the body. There are many aspects in which this procedure is preferred by the clients over a much longer and invasive process of Liposuction for fat reduction from the body.

  • Fat Freezing Belts 

Fat freezing belts are commonly used for fat freezing at home procedures. However, these belts are not efficient in providing desired results as the temperature of the belts are not controlled and are bound to decrease gradually while using. 

The temperature is not consistent with these belts which does not give freezing results accurately. Besides this, as the device is in the shape of a belt, the range of using this product is only limited to being used around the belly.

  • Poor quality and untested 

Avoid Freezing Fat at Home 

The idea of placing a DIY cooling device to freeze the fat cells might seem simple but actually it is not an ideal option. DIY devices are commonly available, but it is important to know that fat freezing is a professional procedure and attempting to do it at home on your own is not safe and can cause harm to your body like burns, blisters, and scars.
