The world population is more than 7 billion, and each differs in various aspects. While looking at everyone’s body, the basic anatomy is the same, even though they look completely different. When we take a close look, we can see some similarities. Our bodies are similar in some ways, and based on these similarities, body types are mainly classified into 3.
This classification is done by the famous American psychologist and researcher William Sheldon. Ectomorphs, Mesomorphs, and Endomorphs are the 3 classifications we talked about. Ectomorphs are those people who can eat more but won’t gain weight. It is because of their higher metabolism. In the case of mesomorphs, they are compact and muscular. They can easily gain or lose weight.
What if you are gaining weight?
Are you one of those who gain weight easily and face difficulty while losing it? If yes, then you are an Endomorph. Generally, they have a metabolism that is very slow compared to others. Therefore, they have a natural tendency to gain weight. It may seem that weight loss is impossible for endomorphs. But it’s not. A little bit of extra work can show you incredible changes in your body. Even though there are a lot of diet plans available for endomorphs, still it’s not enough. You should also do a workout routine and diet; otherwise, the weight you lose will get back faster right after you stop dieting.
If you are an endomorph person and want to lose weight, it is crucial to have a well-balanced diet and workout plan. Well, talking about the diet, you have to concentrate on proteins and nutrients and don’t forget to include monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat in your diet. “Dieting means fewer options to eat!” Let’s bust that myth. Dieting doesn’t mean that you don’t have enough options to eat.
There are hundreds of options for you to try out. You can try low-fat dairy products, fish, poultry, non-tropical vegetable cooking oils such as olive, canola, eggs and egg whites, almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts for a protein-rich diet. Endomorphs are sensitive to carbs and insulin. Foods containing high carbohydrates release more sugar into the blood. Your body will convert this sugar into fat. And the worst part is it won’t get burned.
Listen, we are not talking about stopping the intake of carbs. What you’ve to do is to consume good carbohydrates. You will get that from fruits and vegetables, whole-grain bread, dried beans, etc. You can make sure that only good carbohydrates are getting into your body by doing this. Also, try to completely avoid white bread, white flour, pasta, candies, etc. So now, let’s assume that you have a well-prepared diet plan; it’s not enough to get results. You have to make sure that you are following some other things also. The first one is to improve your metabolism. Are you thinking about how to do that? It’s simple.
Well, the first thing is to do proper exercise. Doing exercise regularly will improve your metabolism rate. Before doing any hard exercise, consult a doctor or physician and make sure that you are risk-free in doing workouts. You should do cardiovascular workouts and weight workouts for better results. Cardio will help burn all the unnecessary calories from your body. Start doing workouts from a moderate range and then increase the rate according to your strength and stamina.
Don’t forget to do cardio at least 3 to 5 times a week. After making sure that enough cardio has been done, you can start effective weight training. There are mainly two types of effective weight loss training for Endomorphs. One is high-intensity interval training (HIIT) where you train intensively for a short time and follow it up with a relaxing period equal to or longer than that. The next one is steady-state training where you maintain a consistent speed, intensity level, etc. while working out. After all of these diets and heavy workouts let’s not forget one very important thing.
It’s muscle building. Muscle building can easily be done through dieting and workouts. A few kinds of workouts you can try for building muscles are hip hinges, pushups, squats, and circuit training. These will help you strengthen and build new muscles. So the point of all these diets, workouts, and training is to burn calories, boost metabolism, and build lean muscles. After all these diets and workouts, you will start seeing an immense change in your body. You can look incredible in any kind of outfit that you want to wear.
Let’s just not forget that consistency is the key. Be consistent with everything you do. Don’t ever get lazy about dieting properly and doing workouts. Other than all these workouts and diets there are some other important things you should consider alongside. Try to control oversleeping, and be ready to get up early. Give less attention to junk foods and try not to get immersed in front of the screen. Always keep your body happy and healthy. Take care of yourself for a better tomorrow.
